![]() After what seemed like an interminably long day starting off at sunrise, followed by 4 hours or so at Saltwick Bay and a quick visit to the pub, we found ourselves hanging around the various collections of groynes at Sandsend. Ourselves being a motley crew of fellow bloggers generally being out and about and amusing various members of the public who wondered what we were doing cramming our lenses into the grey glunk of the colourless North Sea. The weather had not been too kind - no rain, but no real sun and a generally diffuse glow from the sky with no colours - but of course photo opportunities are always there and this seemed like a good opportunity to try out some monochrome groyne shots. Jon Swainson has a great shot of these, and Jonathan Clark has a given a really neat twist to a visit to Saltwick Bay.
