 Well we are returned from our trip! It's been a long day of hanging around waiting for coaches and planes but I know we will wake up tomorrow and there will be no more snow outside the window! But then I think we both need a few days off, bashing the old piste everyday starts to take it's toll after a while and certainly my knees are feeling quite tender at the moment. We took a few snaps with the Lumix, here's a great signpost we came across at the top of the Zinsberg - we were skiing the Skiwelt in the Soll area of Austria. Loads of cruisy runs over here but the connecting runs back to Soll were often hard packed or very slushy. I think Jeannie skied her first black run on the first day - I made the mistake of thinking the snow would be better higher up so we just headed for the top of the Hohe Salve. I think I'll ask a local next time where the best snow is because that first day was particularly gnarly with loads of hard packed snow almost masquerading as ice.
